Senior Portraits: Devin

Devin was simply a doll to work with. She is a dancer and has many sides to her personality so she brought outfits to showcase all of them! We played around in the studio space to capture her personality: the dancer, the high school girl, the biker chick, the sweetheart, and the nerdy hip-hopper. Since Devin is a dancer she knows how to perform (how to smile, hold herself), so shooting her was a breeze!

Senior Portraits: Rachel

Rachel is a friend of mine from work and asked me to shoot her senior portraits. She let me have free reign so I tried to choose locations that fit her look and personality. We started out at the studio where I intern and then moved on to Minnehaha Falls to get a variety of looks. Rachel was nervous at the start, but eased into the shoot and was very happy with the end results (as was I!).

Engagement: Megan and Kirk

Well it's been a while since I posted anything but I've definitely been quite busy! These photos were spur of the moment of my sister, Megan, and her fiance (now husband) Kirk during their rehearsal dinner. The light was fading fast but it was hitting them just right and I think we got really lucky.
